Il Teatro Calamari is back from an International with "Odyssey", an eclectic mix of puppetry, mask, and physical theatre. This production is a full 70 minutes of comedy with more physicality, new outrageous props, and a fabulous performance venue. "Odyssey" opens at the
Theater in City/Town December 13, 14, 2002 at 8PM. Tickets are $12/adults, $10/seniors and$6/students, for more information Call 862-5371 for tickets. The program is sponsored by Morrison and Frampton Law Offices. "Odyssey" is a comedy review for the whole family that uses diverse theatre elements, New Vaudeville, Clown, Puppetry and Magical Realism, to create an environment where anything can and does happen. Set in an attic, the performers take us on fanciful journeys that spring from a mountain of luggage, boxes and every day objects. Be delighted by the Schnozzes (bright orange inhabitents of the attic that sing), Kleenexes that come to life and fall in love, pillows that no longer want to be slept on throw off their shackles of servitude and taste freedom, and much more.
